I am a PhD student at the University of Arizona. I am also a Graduate Associate in Teaching within the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. My field of research is Hispanic Linguistics, and my areas of interest are Spanish morphosyntax, psycholinguistics, L2/L3/Ln acquisition, and Bilingualism.
I am originally from Avilés, in the Principality of Asturias (Spain). I received my BA in English Studies from the University of Oviedo, where I pursued an MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language too. Before arriving in Arizona, I also obtained another MA degree in Hispanic Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Kent in Canterbury (UK).
