Beatriz Jiménez Villanueva has more than 15 years of experience in international and Study Abroad education in Spain, Chile and USA. She received her Bachelor in English at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, and her MA and PhD at the University of Arizona. In both institutions she worked with Study Abroad students, teaching different levels of Spanish classes to a wide variety of students. Her major is in Border Studies, with a strong emphasis on Chican@ Literature and Critical Theory. Now Beatriz is the founder and the Academic Director of Guadabroad, a study abroad company in Guadalajara, Spain. She also collaborates with UNIR (Universidad Internacional de la Rioja) in the supervision of MA dissertations in Spanish as a Second Language, and with UNED (Universidad Española a Distancia) teaching different Spanish Literature courses.
