All students within the Department of Spanish and Portuguese are welcome and encouraged to attend our annual El Día de los Muertos - a week of celebration.
At any time during next week (10/28/19 to 11/01/19), bring flowers, candles, or photos of your loved ones to add to the altars located on the 5th floor of Modern Languages (north side of the building). Attend one of the interactive workshops, too:
* Monday 10/28 – Altar building from 12-12:50 p.m. in ML 5th floor Hallway
* Tuesday 10/29 – Flower making & Papel Picado from 1-1:50 p.m. in ML 412
* Wednesday 10/30 – Headpiece making: Flowered Hats/Headbands from 10-10:50 a.m. in ML 412
* Thursday 10/31 – Decorating masks and skulls from 12-12:50 p.m. in ML 513
* Friday 11/1 – Writer’s Workshop: Writing your own messages from 11-11:50 a.m. in ML 513
