Flávio Venturini was part of the famous Clube de Esquina movement in Minas Gerais. Apart from Flávio Venturini, other prominent members of Clube de Esquina were Tavinho Moura, Beto Guedes, Milton Nascimento, Wagner Tiso, and Lô Borges. Venturini’s compositions have been recorded by Caetano Veloso, Pat Metheny, Peter Gabriel, among many others. His hits include “Espanhola" (with Guarabyra), "Todo azul do mar," and "Noites com Sol."
