In this workshop, we will introduce Spanish teachers to Portuguese, highlighting the linguistic similarities between the languages that allow for a fast acquisition process.
We will also explore the arts and cultures of the Portuguese-speaking cultures with hands-on activities.
The Department of Spanish and Portuguese and the Center for Latin American Studies are currently recruiting High School Spanish Teachers to participate in the 2024 Summer Study Abroad in Brazil. Participation in this Workshop is required for applicants to the Study Abroad opportunity
