You are invited to join the second session of the Women in the Spanish-Speaking Diaspora Reading Group sponsored by Department of Spanish and Portuguese and The University of Arizona Commission on the Status of Women.

About Isabel Parra:
Isabel Parra was born in Chile in 1939 and began her career in music at the age of 13 when she made her first recording with her world-renowned mother and folklorist, Violeta Parra. She is a famous Chilean singer-songwriter and interpreter of Latin American musical folklore (last.fm).
