Isabella Calafate de Barros Awarded Karen Smith Fellowship Scholarhip

Congratulations to another of our outstanding graduate students, Isabella Calafate de Barros, on being awarded the Karen Smith Fellowship Scholarship! Isabella is a Ph.D. candidate in Hispanic Linguistics. Her research interests are mainly in morphosyntactic variation in US Spanish and critical pedagogies in the Spanish as a heritage language classroom. She will be writing her dissertation on mood selection among Spanish-English bilinguals in the US.  Great job, Isabella!
