We are pleased to share that our alumna Jessie Bustamente is the COH nominee for the Arizona Alumni Association’s Young Professional Achievement Award. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in Leadership. Also holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Jessie Bustamante is a management professional with expertise in fundraising for non-profit organizations. In 2019, she became the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) for the ACCEL (Phoenix, AZ). In this role, she has secured funding to support children and adults with severe and profound developmental disabilities, behavior disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Beyond fundraising, she manages marketing and community outreach efforts for ACCEL. Before this position, she worked in fundraising and leadership positions for Arizona and California health and human services organizations. These organizations include the American Heart Association, Moishe House, and the American Lung Association. She is an active volunteer in community organizations. Her professional efforts have been recognized by NOW Women Social Impact (December 2022), Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary (2022), and Phoenix magazine “Great 48 Class of 2021” (2021). Most recently, she was listed in “40 Under 40” in the Phoenix Business Journal, recognizing fast-track executives as trailblazers in their industries and the community.
