Thanks to my education in the Humanities I have reached more than 15 years of experience in international and Study Abroad education in Spain, Chile and the USA. I received my Bachelor in English at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, and my MA and PhD at the University of Arizona. In both institutions I worked with Study Abroad students, teaching different levels of Spanish classes to a wide variety of students. My major is in Border Studies, with a strong emphasis on Chican@ Literature and Critical Theory. Thank to this education I am now the founder and the Academic Director of Guadabroad. I also collaborate with UNIR (Universidad Internacional de la Rioja) in the supervision of MA dissertations in Spanish as a Second Language, and with UNED (Universidad Española a Distancia) teaching different Spanish Literature courses.
