Rockey, Catherine
Graduate Associate

Catherine Rockey is a 5th year PhD candidate in Hispanic Linguistics in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese with a SLAT minor. She received her BA in Spanish and Secondary Education from Fort Hays State Univeristy and completed her MA in Spanish at Middlebury college in Madrid, Spain. Her research interests include second language pragmatics, graduate student professional development and training, and teacher identity/agency. She has taught SPAN 102, 202, 251 and 360 at the UofA and was previously a High School Spanish teacher in Denver, CO.

SPAN 325 – Intermediate Grammar and Writing

Essential points of grammar, with emphasis on syntax and development of writing skills.
