Medical Spanish I provides beginner students with an accelerated review of basic Spanish communication skills and the opportunity to interact in culturally and intellectually stimulating ways in biomedical educational settings. This preparation is necessary for the clinical clerkship experience, which includes many rotations in Spanish-speaking communities.
