Alicia is a second-year PhD student in Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Arizona. Her research interests center on the sociolinguistics of bilingual communities.

The eyes are a window to the mind: The processing of Spanish grammatical gender in codeswitching
Tamara Gómez Carrero, University of Valladolid
Tamara Gómez Carrero is a fourth-year PhD student from the University of Valladolid and part of the research group UVALAL. Her research interests focus on code-switching; specifically, she investigates how grammatical gender is processed by English-Spanish sequential and simultaneous bilinguals by using eye-tracking data.
