Please join us in congratulating Ángela Matute Sánchez for winning the College of Humanities Outstanding GAT Award!

Here is a quick bio about Ángela: “I am a Ph.D. candidate in Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Arizona with a minor in SLAT. I am interested in syntactic word order and information structure in Spanish, and I am currently working in my dissertation where I explore the interaction of syntax with prosody and discourse. I also finished a Certificate in Language Program Administration and I am part of the BLP coordination team. I am also interested in second language teaching methods, materials design, and evaluation.”

Ángela is an integral piece of our department, and we are so proud of her accomplishments and those to come! Thank you for your hard work, Ángela!
