"I am truly honored to receive this award. I am also grateful to my mentors, colleagues, and especially my students who make my work meaningful. For me, teaching Spanish goes beyond the intricate and interesting linguistics, it is also about helping students to be critical thinkers and globally aware individuals ready to navigate and contribute to an ever-changing world."
