Professor Lillian Gorman Receives the New Mexico Book Award

Congratulations to Professor Lillian Gorman for winning the New Mexico Book Award for Zones of Encuentro: Language and Identities in Northern New Mexico! The Department of Spanish and Portuguese is so proud of Professor Gorman for this well-deserved recognition of her talent and thoughtful analysis. Her work also propelled her to finalist positions in the categories of First Book and BIPOC Author or Subject.
