I moved to New York City right after graduating from the University of Arizona in 2005. My time at the U of A gave me the key differentiating skills and opportunities to propel me into a life that is fulfilling and successful. I double majored in Spanish Linguistics from the College of Humanities and Economics from the College of Behavioral Sciences. I believe that my humanities degree continues to be the lynchpin to a successful career. My career demands that I dig at the root of problems, identify causes and present a business case to the senior leaders of the organization. My passion for cross-cultural understanding, desire to learn and understand language, and the curiosity to dive deep and wide into topics comes directly from my time in my humanities classes. Humanities taught me that understanding intersectionality is crucial to being successful in the professional world. My time at U of A has served me well as I work to uncover opportunities that affect people and how those people interact across my company.
