Prof. Ana Cornide will be the Project Director of the federally sponsored Project “ADELANTE: Advancing Culturally Responsive Place-Based Educational Opportunities for Latinx Students in the Borderlands” (2023-2028). With this Title V grant ($3,000,000), the University of Arizona will strengthen retention, degree completion, career readiness, and post-graduation success for Hispanic/Latinx and low-income students. The program will expand and enhance academic offerings, program quality, faculty quality know-how, and institutional stability. It is a collaboration with the College of Education, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, College of Humanities and Hispanic Serving Institutions Initiatives.
