Luisa Fernanda Robles Vega is currently pursuing her M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at The University of Arizona.  Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Luisa earned her Licenciatura (B.A.) in Modern Languages from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Before joining The University of Arizona, Luisa held the position of Spanish Learning Associate in the Department of Hispanic Studies at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. 

Luisa's research interests include Bilingualism, Second Language Acquisition and Teaching, and Spanish as a Heritage Language.
